Board Committees

Board Committees aid the Board of Directors in its governance role. These committees assist with the work of the Board and provide direction to hospital leadership. Board Committees meet on a regular basis. The Terms of Reference for each Board Committee can be found below.

Board Recruitment

Healthcare touches everyone in our community. If you’re looking for a place to volunteer your skills and have a wide community impact, SHHA is interested in you. We have openings on our Board of Directors, but if you’re looking to get your feet wet and perhaps move up to the Board later, our board committees are also welcoming members of the community.

Our Board is focused on governance, so you won’t be asked to raise funds. Our committees can be a bit more hands-on in their tasks but ultimately, they all make recommendations to the Board.

Interested? Complete our Board Application Form and let us know where your strengths lie.
