SHHA Shares Space with OPP

A unique opportunity was presented to the South Huron Hospital Association (SHHA) by the Director, Facilities & Support Services, Mr. Mike Fagan. On Tuesday, August 24th, (SHHA) Acting Board Chair, Mr. Bruce Shaw, and Interim President & CEO, Ms. Nancy Peter met with Inspector Jason Younan – Detachment Commander of the Huron OPP Detachment. The meeting was to establish a working partnership to provide space for Officers while they are in the South Huron Community. This agreement is effective Tuesday, August 24th, 2021.
Providing space for Officers while they are in the community was a win-win opportunity for both the Hospital and the OPP. The Hospital will be providing space for Officers to come to during any shift they have in this community.
Community engagement and partnerships are important to the Hospital, and SHHA is grateful to have this opportunity.
