What To Bring

  • Health Card
  • Pajamas or nightgown, slippers (with closed back)
  • Housecoat (no longer than mid-calf to reduce risk of trips/ falls)
  • Personal Toiletries: non-scented shampoo/soap, deodorant, shaving supplies, toothbrush, tooth paste, denture cleaner, comb/hair brush, etc.
  • If bringing street clothes, choose clothes that will allow you to get dressed easily and as independently as possible
  • Please bring and inform staff of any assistive devices used routinely (i.e. hearing aids, eyeglasses, prosthetics, etc.)
  • Special equipment: If you have your own special wheelchair, walker, braces, splints, suppports, etc.,  please have it brought into the hospital
  • Ensure that any item(s) that you have brought into the hospital are clearly labelled
